Arctic Sovereignty & Northern Defence
Mapping surveillance coverage, logistics reach and community capacity to show where presence is real.
The Arctic is opening: new shipping routes, rising foreign research and commercial activity, and a northern flank that allies now have to defend together. Sovereignty across millions of square kilometres rests on aging infrastructure and a handful of communities. This study maps surveillance coverage, logistics reach, dual-use infrastructure and community capacity across the North to show where presence is real and where it is only asserted on paper.
